Comparison of soil samples

soil samples – compacted (left), structured (right)

A comparison of compacted and structured soil.

The sample on the left is typical of compacted soil worldwide. Compaction occurs due to use of chemicals, artificial fertilisers and too heavy machinery – resulting in a reduction of microbes, worms and humus.

The sample on the right shows the same soil after one year of Demeter bio-dynamic treatment. You can see the typical soil structure and humus building effects of the Australian Demeter Dio-Dynamic Method.
